I'll tell you what is wrong at heart. We have always settled for the lesser of 2 evils, which insures we will get closer and closer to the ultimate evil, one slow step at a time. We allowed Tryptophan to go when we should have been in an uproar. I once wrote a very prominent health organization to fight for the legalization of all plants and possible derivatives and extracts of those plants, illicit or other wise. Why? Because the right to all vegetation should be a fundamental right of all peoples. It was given to us by God in Genesis.

At the very least, maybe they would have backed off more had we gone for more in rights. BUt no, we allowed a really bad precedent to stay and open the door for the government to claim they know better than we what is right for us or not. It should be our exclusive right to choose or reject what we will. The government should not dictate our morals in food and vegetation, but they do. NOr dictate our preferences in the bedroom, by they do. Nor to dictate what recreation or risks we want to take or not, but they do. We ahve the ultimate and exclusive right to decide for our kids what they can have or not or what age they can marry or whatever else. We are their only guardian.
When are we going to go all out and demand the utmost respect for our true rights and stop letting them tell us that we have to wear seatbelts or any other have to's. They are all our electives and do not infringe on others. But we allow evil precedents to imprison us and deny us choices so know this, people. You have imprisoned and denied yourselves because you will accept infringements on your right and demand they be repealed and stop.
Any good negotiator knows that if you want some particular agreement, you have to ask for more than that so that if you must lower what you ask for, it can still match or come close to what you really want. But you are all so willing to give so much ground, you leave little left to be asked for. This is what you have always done and you will always get the same result. Keep it up you fools. Government loves idiots.

This whole 'big brother' thing gets worse every day. I am outraged that a few folks in positions of power want so badly to remove freedom to choose from those of us who disagree with the 'high-tech, low-touch'. All for money.

I appreciate what you are doing, I know it takes time, energy and money to voice your opinion - and every voice helps. Yes, I still believe that 'one person can make a difference.

Medicine is just a way of thinking, that's all. Sadly, it has power of law supporting it and political momentum that is difficult to change. A revolution is required, and I think this may be happening right now as we see the existing sick-patient care system in need of intensive care and piles of money to survive.

Thanks for all you do.
